Forza Win(ter)'s Fonduta Nights in Peckham

Back this winter after a year’s hiatus, Italian supperclub Forza Win will be hosting their celebrated Forza Win(ter) Fonduta nights again from the end of this month. Held at their new home on Peckham’s Copeland Road, recently transformed into an Italian banqueting hall, each supper will consist of five different courses, and centre around a huge, bubbling pot of Fonduta, the northern Italian twist on fondue. Though the simmering vat of molten cheese is more than enough to win us over, we also recommend keeping some room for the hearty Italian accompaniments which will range from seasonal vegetables like squashes and radishes, to Polpette and Porcini Arancini.
Though distinctly Italian in their preparation, all of Forza Win’s ingredients are sourced in Britain. The chefs will be also using their signature wood burning oven, which they believe enhances the flavours of their cooking, and helps to conserve energy, too.
Alongside this sumptuous spread, there will be a cocktail bar serving hot aperitivo, and a vending machine dispensing frosty Moretti beer. A warming slice of alpine festivity in the heart of south London, we suspect this banquet is one not to be missed.
